Top Navigation and Maps Apps in Oman: Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications in Oman showed varied performance trends on a unified platform, according to Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps Go saw a peak in weekly downloads at 9.1K in late July, followed by a decline, ending the quarter at approximately 3.8K. Active users fluctuated, reaching a high of 931K in August, before settling at around 834K by the end of September.

Google Earth experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 1.2K and climbing to 5.5K by the end of the quarter. Active users rose consistently, peaking at 13.1K in late September.

Qibla Compass downloads increased from 779 to 1.9K by early August, then gradually declined to 800 by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a steady rise, reaching 5.3K.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic downloads started at 1.4K, peaking at 1.6K in early August, and then decreased to 913 by the end of September. The app maintained over 100K active users throughout the quarter.

Muslim Prayer - Qibla Compass showed modest weekly revenue, consistently around $1 to $2. Downloads peaked at 1.1K in early August, then tapered off to 598 by the end of the quarter. Active users slightly declined from 3.3K to 2.9K.
